"Stand On The Word" was first ever recorded live in the First Baptist Church in Crown Heights, NYC, in 1982. Few copies were printed of this LP. Somehow this few copies got discovered by the New York most discerning DJs and soulful dance music aficionados. Among the many remixes that you can find around I want to list this remix (featuring also Tony Humphries)
Then the Larry Levan mix:

More recent and more commercial and pop this revisited version from this new group:

Disco Devil
Double post to day, now I'm posting for this Belgian (I guess) duo Disco Devil. My preferred track is the remix of the Eurythmics.

Lucien-N-Luciano
This great artist from Chile/Swiss (yes you got it right!), bron in Swiss and then moved to Chile to follow his mother. His techno minimal influences do not betray his Swiss origin.

Atelier Folie
Again with some Italo Disco. This time with Atlier Folie, No Rhyme No Reason (1983) and guess what? The same year of the great "Blue Monday" by New Order, you can easily notice the similarity.
