Isaac Hayes

Academy award winner, producer, composer, singer, Isaac Hayes one of the main voice of southern soul produced so much great music.
If you think that when he sings, he has a familiar voice, it is because he dubbed "chef" in the South Park animated series.

One of his classic remixed by Ron Hardy.

Fred Falke

Since it seems that lately I can't stop from doing post about France musicians and France House, here is another one.
This time is Fred Falke which in 2000 along with his buddy Alan Braxe released 'Intro', a pretty popular track which sampled The Jets 1987 hit Crush On You.

Sebastien Tellier

I am a big fan of Sebastien Tellier since the Politics album (2004). His new album Sexuality produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk is just another demostration of the level of current French electronic music production.

The French duo that has influenced so much the electronic music scene in the past years. Interstellar 5555 an animated movie with no dialogs ("the animated House Musical" that's how they describe it) is one extra confirmation of their artistic "grandeur".

Carl Craig

The aristocratic, intellectual, refined, minimal, Carl Craig. I really do not have enough words to express my admiration for this artist.

You can just type his name on Youtube and every track is great. I choose this one just because it remembers me of my first clubbing experiences and it's also one of the first Techno LP I owned (I bought it when 15).

The Joubert Singers

"Stand On The Word" was first ever recorded live in the First Baptist Church in Crown Heights, NYC, in 1982. Few copies were printed of this LP. Somehow this few copies got discovered by the New York most discerning DJs and soulful dance music aficionados. Among the many remixes that you can find around I want to list this remix (featuring also Tony Humphries)
